The short version
We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password when you sign up.
- Payment details: handled by our payment provider. We only see the last four digits of your card and the expiry date.
- Reading data: which articles you open, so we can show you related stories and count what people read.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
How we use it
We use your details to run your account, send the newsletters you choose, process payments and answer your messages. We use reading data in aggregate to decide what to write next.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services that help us run Tratto: hosting, email delivery and payments. Each one is bound by a contract to protect it and to use it only for us. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is open. When you close it, we delete your personal data within thirty days, except where the law requires us to keep invoices.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Write to privacy@tratto.test and we will reply within thirty days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and tell members by email.
